When you are in doubt about the origin or cause of rosacea, couperose or Dermatities, it makes good sense to visit a
dermatologist. There can be more here than meets the eye.
Deeper medical issues aside, correcting the visible
problem often is a matter of simple subtraction. Often one can have too many things going on with their skin.
Too much sunscreen, lotion, cream, cosmeceuticals, pharmaceuticals, naturals and unnatural - it doesn't really matter
how beneficial a substance is or isn't after awhile, the sheer totality of it all simply aggravates the condition.
An unwavering
routine of bad cleansers, gooey makeup, moisturizer and sunscreen plus an 'active' cosmeceutical, usually exfoliating,
is a solid foundation for building up a resistant case of rosacea or dermatitis. Most rosacea sufferers rely on moisturizers,
lotions, makeup and sunscreen all of which add to the problem.
What is most important is to reduce inflammation. You
want to improve tissue while eliminating other topical products that can contribute to the condition.
